Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-04-16

These terms apply when you use the TalkCraft mobile app or this website. Please read them. Using the service means you agree to them.

Who’s providing the service

The TalkCraft app and website are provided by TalkCraft. You can contact us at [email protected].

What the service is

TalkCraft is an educational app for practicing conversation skills — scenario role-plays, short quizzes, and spaced-repetition review. The content is bundled with the app and designed for self-study.

It’s not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, HR advice, coaching, or any kind of professional service. If you’re dealing with a situation that needs a professional, please see one.

Using the app

Apple’s standard license agreement

The app you download from the App Store is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where anything in these Terms conflicts with that agreement, the stricter of the two applies to your use of the app on iOS.

Free tier and Premium

TalkCraft has a free tier with daily usage limits and a Premium tier that unlocks unlimited drills, every scenario, and every course.

Subscription basics

Refunds

Because Apple and Google handle the transaction, refund requests for iOS and Android purchases go through them. Apple: use reportaproblem.apple.com. Google: use your Google Play order history. We can’t issue refunds on their behalf, but if we’ve clearly made a mistake, email [email protected] and we’ll help.

Free trial or introductory offers

If a free trial or introductory offer is available, it’s shown on the paywall at the time of purchase with the post-trial price and the date you’ll be charged. The trial converts to a paid subscription automatically unless you cancel before it ends.

Intellectual property

TalkCraft owns the TalkCraft app, the course content, the visual design, and the marks “TalkCraft” and the TalkCraft logo. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use them inside the app. You don’t get any other rights.

Any display name you enter stays on your device. We don’t claim rights to it.

Service availability and changes

We may add features, change features, fix bugs, or retire parts of the app. We may stop offering the service entirely. We’ll try not to surprise you with changes that affect a paid subscription — if a major change impacts what you’re paying for, we’ll flag it.

Warranties

TalkCraft is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or will produce any specific result (like “you’ll nail that negotiation”). Practicing conversations in an app is useful; it’s not a guarantee.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TalkCraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service, even if we’ve been told they might happen. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50.

Some places don’t allow these limits, in which case the limits apply only to the extent permitted.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above. If a change is material, we’ll call it out in the app or by email (if you’ve written to support from a reachable address). Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You can stop using the app any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end your access if you use the service in a way that clearly violates these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TalkCraft is established. If you’re a consumer, this doesn’t remove the protections of the mandatory consumer law that applies to you locally.
