What we actually use today

The site uses local storage to remember your preference and optional PostHog analytics after consent. It does not use advertising cookies or third-party video/chat embeds.

Your cookie-banner choice is saved in your browser’s localStorage under the key talkcraft.cookieConsent.v1. That’s so we don’t show the banner again on your next visit. It stays in your browser until you clear site data.

Essential cookies

The application uses the preference record above without an analytics opt-in. Hosting services also process network requests needed to deliver and protect the website.

Analytics (only if you accept)

If you tap Accept analytics in the banner, we load PostHog (hosted in the EU) to see which pages and buttons are useful — for example, how many people read a note and then open the App Store. Until you accept, nothing from PostHog is downloaded or sent. If you choose Essential only, it stays off.

PostHog stores a pseudonymous browser identifier using cookies/local storage to recognize repeat visits. Events include page views, reading/scroll signals, demo choices, outbound clicks, browser context and error diagnostics. Session recording and automatic click capture are disabled. Search events contain query length and result count, not the text you type. A website click does not tell us whether you installed or bought the app.

Changing your choice

Use the controls below to change your choice. Essential only stops future analytics and clears PostHog persistence. It does not delete events already sent; contact us for a deletion request. Clearing all site data also removes the saved consent choice.
