Deleting your data
Last updated: 2026-04-16
TalkCraft doesn’t ask you to create an account, so there’s no account to delete. Your data lives on your phone. Here’s how to remove it, plus how to cancel a Premium subscription.
1. Reset your progress inside the app
To wipe quizzes, scenarios, review cards, XP, and streaks while keeping the app installed:
- Open TalkCraft.
- Go to Profile.
- Tap Reset all progress and confirm.
Course content, onboarding state, and your Premium entitlement stay in place. The reset is immediate and can’t be undone, because we don’t keep a copy anywhere else.
2. Remove everything by uninstalling
Uninstalling the app deletes its local data from your device.
- iPhone / iPad: touch and hold the app icon → Remove App → Delete App.
- Android: touch and hold the app icon → Uninstall.
Uninstalling does not cancel a paid subscription. If you have Premium, cancel it before or after uninstalling — see below.
3. Cancel Premium
Billing is handled by Apple (iOS) and Google (Android). Cancel in the store you bought from:
- Apple: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions → TalkCraft → Cancel.
- Google: play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions → TalkCraft → Cancel.
4. Data held by our service providers
We don’t run a backend of our own, so we don’t have a user database to delete from. The parties that hold subscription-related records are:
- Apple — your App Store account and purchase history.
- Google — your Google Play account and purchase history (Android).
- RevenueCat — subscription state tied to an anonymous install identifier, plus purchase receipts forwarded from the stores. Details in the Privacy Policy.
If you’d like us to ask RevenueCat to delete the subscription record tied to your install, email [email protected] with the approximate purchase date and the store you used. We’ll route the request.
Apple and Google keep their own transaction records for their own legal and fraud-prevention reasons. We can’t delete those on your behalf.
